About TinyRaster
TinyRaster is a small collection of focused image tools that run entirely in your browser — built for speed, simplicity and privacy.
What is TinyRaster?
TinyRaster is a small, independent project built around a simple idea: you shouldn’t need heavy apps or complicated dashboards to do basic image tasks. Converting formats, compressing files, resizing pictures and turning images into PDFs should be quick, safe and boring.
Every TinyRaster tool is designed to be:
- Fast — minimal UI, no account, no credit card.
- Private — conversions run 100% in your browser.
- Focused — each page solves a single, clear problem.
100% browser-based by design
TinyRaster does not upload your images to a server for processing. Conversion, compression and resizing happen directly in your browser using HTML5 canvas and other client-side APIs.
This has two main benefits:
- No waiting for uploads or downloads.
- Your images stay on your device instead of on someone else’s disk.

Current tools
TinyRaster started with a single JPG ⇄ PNG converter and is slowly growing. At the moment, you can:
- Convert between JPG and PNG — with dedicated pages for JPG to PNG and PNG to JPG when you only need one direction.
- Convert JPG/PNG to WebP — or use the focused PNG to WebP converter if you only work with PNG files.
- Compress images — plus a dedicated JPEG compressor for JPG-only photo workflows.
- Resize images — with aspect ratio lock, presets and output format control.
- Turn an image into a PDF — ideal for receipts, screenshots and simple one-page docs.
More tiny tools and quality-of-life improvements are planned over time, including a simple PRO plan and possibly an API for developers.
